It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Robert Wilson on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the age of 65.

Beloved husband of the late Deborah Wilson. Loving and devoted father of Jessica and Mitchell Wilson. Proud grandpa of Finnley and Brayden Wilson.

Dear brother of Deb, Mary-Lou (John), Paul (Sabrina), and Brian (Valerie). Robert is predeceased by his parents and his brother Bill. He will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, especially his best friend Ron.

The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa for their compassionate care.

As per Robert’s wishes, a private family burial will take place at Mount Lawn Cemetery.

Ronald David LeBlanc

February 24, 1960 - February 6, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald David LeBlanc in his sleep on February 6, 2025, while at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

Loving father of Kevin and Joel (Melanie).
Cherished grandfather of Zoe.
Ron was predeceased by his mother Violet, father Fidele, and brother Phillip.
He is survived by his brother Eric (Yvonne) and sister-in-law Michelle.
He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In keeping with Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held by his family in the spring.

Gary Harm

June 12, 1961 - February 10, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Gary Harm at his home on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the age of 63.

Beloved husband of Diane. Loving father of Allan and Andrea, Mike and Amanda.
Proud Opa of Arianna, Axton, Mae, and Penny.
Dear brother of Dorit and her husband John.
Cherished son-in-law of Willa Ott.
A fun-loving brother-in-law and uncle to a wonderful extended family.

Gary will be fondly remembered by his best friends Sherry and Darrel (Dillweed) and his many friends, including his AA community.

An avid scuba diving enthusiast and soccer fan, Gary lived life with passion and adventure.

Walter John William Fowlie

August 21, 1939 - February 12, 2025

Peacefully, in his favourite position, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, in his 86th year.

Son of Walter and Lillian Fowlie.
Much-loved husband of 63 years to Linda (Jeffery).
Cherished father of Christopher (1988), Terri-Lyn (David), Denise (Paul), and Gayle.

Adored Poppa of Katie, Alex, Sara, and Lisa; Sam and Chris; Clayton, Tyler (2021), and Brad.
Proud Great Pops to Stella, Mia, Liam, and Nora; Wyatt and Levi.

Walter was a man of few words and rare smiles, but if you asked him about fishing or gardening, he could tell you anything you needed to know.
Forever the scholar, he achieved his BaSC at the age of 60 from Trent University.

At Walter’s request, there will be no funeral service—he was never one for fuss or a party.

Hope you are trying to catch that rainbow trout that got away, with Chris and Tyler cheering you on.
Make sure you wear those red socks.
Life is hard, but at least you don’t have ugly children.

Gunter Helge Koch

September 25, 1943 - February 11, 2025

In Loving Memory

Koch, Gunter Helge, passed away peacefully after a brief illness with his family at his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Helge was the beloved husband of the late Theresa and a loving father to Harald (Michaela). He was also a supportive stepfather to Diana-Lynn (Bjarne), Kelly-Ann (Brian), Tina, Wendy, and Jennifer.

Helge was a proud grandfather to Charlotte, Gareth, Jordan, and Mark, and a supportive influence in the lives of Brianna and Dalton. He will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Helge was a dedicated physician at Toronto General Hospital for many years. He had a passion for travel and loved the feeling of the wind in his hair while riding his motorcycle.

A special thank you to the staff in the CCU at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their wonderful care and support. The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the in-home care team for their dedication, kindness, and professionalism. Your support made a difference in Helge’s life, and we truly appreciate everything you did.

A celebration of Helge’s life will be held at a later date.

June 25, 1956 – January 31, 2025

After a brief illness, John Wolters of Oshawa passed away on January 31, 2025.

Beloved son of the late Herman and Minnie (Dibbits). Dear brother of Tina and brother-in-law of Jim Yip. Proud uncle of Darren (Rebecca), Kevin, and Carolyn (Andrew). He also leaves behind cousins in Ontario and the Netherlands.

John grew up in the Eastern Townships of Quebec before later settling in Pickering and Willowdale, Ontario. He always had a love for the outdoors and cherished time spent with his friends.

He will be remembered for his honesty, loyalty, trustworthiness, and caring nature, along with his keen sense of humor. John will be forever missed by his family and friends.

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family in the early morning hours of February 10, 2025, in Whitby, Ontario. Loretta, at the age of 95, was the beloved wife of the late Clarence (Larry) Jennings.

Loving mother of Ronald Kingston (Gina), Jane Rosen (Robin), Debbie Watford (David), and Cathy Kingston. Cherished Nan of Robert (Jennifer), Ryan (Chantal), Jaime, Jason, Alisha, Dayna (Travis), Tracy (Eirik), Amy (Kyle), Monique (Gino), Michelle, Chrissy (Matthew), and Ricky (Ligia). Proud great-grandmother of 29.

Loretta will be lovingly remembered by her friends, especially Art Bayley and his family. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the countless caregivers and personal support workers who cared for Loretta.

Surrounded by her family at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa on Thursday, February 6, 2025, Dana Anna Reedyk peacefully passed away, joining her dear husband, Clifford, of 61 years.

Loving mother of Klys (Carolyn), Laurens (Cyndy), Mary-Ann (Gord), Ron (Dawn), and Jon (Rebecca). Beloved Oma to Emily (Jon), Brendan (Madison), Nicole, Duncan, Anthony (Nicole), and Kate (Nick). Proud Great-Oma to Lane, Cullen, and Benjamin. Cherished sister of Cees (Anke).

Also survived by dear friends Noreen and George Martin and Marg and Jim Pyette, brother-in-law Henk, sisters-in-law Cora and Gré, as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends in the Netherlands and Canada. Predeceased by her brothers Meeuwis and Arie.

A dear friend to all whom she crossed paths with, Dana will be remembered for her incredibly giving heart, vibrant presence, and unwavering love and pride in her family.

Paul Douglas Morris

June 20, 1938 – February 6, 2025

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, after a long illness, Paul Douglas Morris passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, with his loving wife Marion by his side.

Born in Toronto, Paul spent his entire career at Maple Leaf Gardens, working in the sound department and serving as the Public Address Announcer for the Toronto Maple Leafs for 38 years. His voice was a familiar and beloved presence for countless fans.

Paul will be greatly missed by Marion (née Price), his devoted wife of 52 years, as well as Marion’s sister, Pat Nowell, and Pat’s daughter Vicki Nowell (Khalid Moomand). He is also survived by his cousin Diane (Larry Amos) and their families, along with the daughters and families of his late cousin Ted Farewell. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Dorothy (née Farewell) Morris, his sister Linda Morris (December 13, 2024), and his cousin Ted Farewell.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at a later date.
