He also leaves behind his siblings Christina (Chris) Yourth, Nathan (Ellie), and Cedar (Dwayne) Arksey. Predeceased by his father James McQueen Clark. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Catherine Dawn Hurlburt on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at home. Catherine was the beloved wife of Kevin and a loving mother to Brayden and his faithful companion, Bowser. She was the cherished daughter of Brian and the late Violet Carle and a dear sister to Valerie (Gary), Nancy, Shannon (Danny), and the late Stephen.
Catherine will be deeply missed by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, her brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and her many cherished friends.

Denise O’Blenes passed away on December 4, 2024, at Lakeridge Health in Bowmanville, Ontario, at the age of 69.
Denise was a strong and passionate woman, with a generous soul. She was also a very sharp and funny lady. Denise always enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, celebrating life, and enjoying the simple things. Denise loved and cherished children and pets, and was always there to support those in need.
Denise was born in Toronto, Ontario, and grew up with her siblings in Whitby. She also lived in Oshawa and Colborne, where she raised a family, and spent her golden years in Bowmanville, Ontario.
Denise had a wonderful career within several Ontario School Boards. She finished her career in the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and retired on June 1, 2015. She often remarked how much she loved connecting with the children there.
Denise will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, siblings, and many family and friends.

Surrounded by his family and loved ones in the days preceding, Gary was called home to heaven in his 80th year on December 6th at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Gary was reunited with his wife, soulmate, and beloved “Petunia” of 32 years, Karen (nee Mason). Predeceased by his cherished parents, Edward and Lillian Arthurs (nee Hallett), and his sister, Edna, his buddy and father-in-law, Harry Mason, dear brother-in-law, Bill Manton, and a legacy of pets, especially Liberty.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter and greatest joy, Cindy, adored son-in-law, Rohan, daughter-by-choice Rebecca, granddaughter Madelynn, sister-in-law Caroline, great-nephew Jakob, nieces Katherine, Sandra (Rob), Sharon, Everleigh, Honor, Carole, Ali, Elizabeth (Jim), Emmily, Erika, Rebekah, Pamela (Neil), Lisa (Lino), Lucas, the extended Arthurs family, and Katie (their cat). Also sharing in his loss are the many friends who became family.
Gary’s family wishes to thank the extraordinary staff at Agecare Samac, especially Nerisa, Cole, Suba, Michelle, Katrina, Jenn, Jordan, Eliza, and Jae, who went above and beyond to support him, as well as the supportive staff at the Palliative Care Unit of Lakeridge Health Oshawa, particularly Connie and Dr. Chen.

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Sharon Rogers on December 7, 2024, at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg, at the age of 69.
Sharon was the loving mother of Keith Stevenson (Crystal Walker), Jennifer Potter (Chuck Canniff), Jessica Potter (Sandra Manderson), William Potter (Dawn Marie Potter), and Richard Potter (Yolande Potter). She was a cherished grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Gary (Debbie), John, Sandra (David), Pam (Alan), Jody, Robert (Cindy), and Karen (Daniel). Sharon was predeceased by her brother Alex.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville, ON, L1C 2Z8, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m.

Freda Mary Cutts passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on December 3, 2024, with her children by her side. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Roy (2016).
Freda was the loving mother of Steve (Jeannie), Andrea (Peter), Brian (Julie), and Terry (Clarise). She was adored by her 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Born in Swansea, Wales, Freda came to Canada in 1956 with toddler Steve to join Roy, who had arrived months earlier. The family settled in Toronto and Scarborough before retiring to Pickering.
An active member of the Catholic Women’s League (CWL), Freda sang and danced with the Sunshine Gals, performing for seniors in Scarborough. Freda and Roy were consummate socialites, enjoying potluck dinners, dances, cocktail parties, and progressive dinners. They loved traveling together and embraced a full and adventurous life.
Freda was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, singer, dancer, snowbird, and golfer (proudly achieving two holes-in-one). Her remarkable life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories, and she will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.
Colleen Locke passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, December 2, 2024.
Beloved wife of the late Ken Locke, Colleen was a dear mother to Christopher (Joan) of Ottawa and Jonathan of Bowmanville. She was a loving grandmother to Dan (Natasha) and Andrew (Emily) and a cherished great-grandmother to Monty, Vienna, and Alice.

Gary was the beloved husband and best friend of Christine and a loving father to Stephen and Christopher. He will be dearly missed by his devoted children Kari (James), Sean, Kristine (Marc), Patrick (Fhaye), and Mike (Ashley). Gary was a cherished grandfather to Beck (Jules), Nathan, Jonah, Allen James, Shae-Lynn, Riley, Holden, Thomas, Phillip, Emma-Leigh, Kamryn, Gabriel, Sophia, and Belle; and a proud great-grandfather to Bentley and Dexter.
Predeceased by his parents Evelyn and George, Gary leaves behind his dear siblings Kelly and brother-in-law Paul, as well as nieces and nephews Jennifer (James), Ashley, and Matt (Darla). He was a loving great-uncle to Scott (Marissa), Brody, Payton, Ava-Lynne, Lincoln, Laney, Hannah, and Addison.
Gary, a recently retired member of The Toronto Signals Band, will be missed by his extended family, including many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, coworkers, and fellow band members, all of whom were like family to him.

Donald Ross Lefeuvre passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Ajax on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the age of 83. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Diane, Don was a devoted father to Randy Lefeuvre and Roger “Damien” (Angela) Lefeuvre. He was a cherished Grandpa to Braden, Jayden, Collette, and Garek, and a proud Great-Grandpa to Scarlett and Carmyn.
Don will be fondly remembered by his extended family, neighbors, and friends for his kindness, humor, and presence in their lives.
