On October 21, 2024, surrounded by family, Jose was called to rest by the Lord. He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Berta; five children; two sons-in-law; one daughter-in-law; thirteen grandchildren: Alex (Erin), Tehani (Andrea), Tania (Matthew), Osmar (Marlene), Samuel, Francesca, Kevin, Anthony, Nathalie, Jose (Laura), Samuel (Sofia), Rosabel, and Christian; and nine great-grandchildren: Aaliyah, Ashton, Elliana, Nico, Matteo, Jaxxon, Leylani, Stephano, and Baby.
