Vladimir was a devoted husband to Mira for 59 years, a loving father to Zeljka, and a proud grandfather to Stefano and Tatyana.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Doreen Slowleigh (née Petrie), age 94. Doreen passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2025, surrounded by family.
Predeceased by her husband William Slowleigh, she is survived by her children Robert French, Linda Trewartha, Paul Graham, and Brian Slowleigh. She was also a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.
A ceremony in her honor will be held on March 1, 2025, with visitation at 2 pm and a service at 3 pm at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St W, Toronto.

Hyacinth Violet Lowe, affectionately known as ‘Aunty P’, passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 85. She was a strong and beloved matriarch who leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, grandchildren, and extended family. Anna Spadafora (née Felice) passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga on January 2, 2025, at the age of 86. Anna is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband of 60 years, Joe Spadafora, her dear brother Bruno Felice, and her loving parents Eugenio and Rosa Felice.
Anna was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. A devoted member of St. Patrick’s Parish in Mississauga, she leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion. Anna embraced her Italian heritage and traditions, bringing joy to her family with lovingly prepared meals, her sharp humor, and her unique, memorable personality.
She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her children: Mike (Elizabeth Schembri), Gino (Nadia), Teresa, and Debbie (Mauro Franceschi). She leaves a loving legacy in her grandchildren: Alycia Spadafora (Matteo Masucci), Claudia and Jessica Michetti, Anthony and Nicolas Franceschi, and Lucas and Erica Spadafora. Her great-grandchildren, Emilia and Mariano Masucci, will also carry her memory forward. Anna is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Aldo and Carmina Felice, as well as nieces Laura Veloso and Nadine Canzolino, along with their spouses and children.
Funeral Details: Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Turner & Porter Funeral Home – Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Parish (921 Flagship Drive, Mississauga). Entombment will follow at Assumption Cemetery (6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Trillium Health Partners-Mississauga Hospital would be appreciated in recognition of the compassionate care Anna received there.
