Adele Elizabeth Tamosaitis, aged 97, of Mississauga, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, surrounded by love. Born in Garliava, Lithuania, Adele was the cherished daughter of Elizabeth (Kairiukstyte) Gincas and Edward Gincas. She attended schools in Lithuania and Germany before immigrating to Canada after World War II.
A devoted mother to John, Rita, Donna, and Kristina, Adele was also a loving grandmother to Bianca, Michael, and Alex. Known for her sense of humor, Adele enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, baking, and entertaining friends. Her family holds many fond memories of her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit.
Adele was predeceased by her beloved husband Andrew and her siblings Jonas, Natalija, Albinas, Alex, and Vytas. She leaves behind her children and grandchildren, who will carry her love in their hearts forever.

In loving memory of Johanna Farrar (née Ryan), who passed away peacefully at home on November 28, 2024. Johanna was predeceased by her husband, Paul Farrar (2018), and her only son, Christopher (2016). Born in County Tipperary, Ireland, Johanna was the ninth of twelve children of Johanna and Peter Ryan. She is survived by her sister Annie, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Johanna was known for her frequent walks around her Etobicoke neighborhood and will be fondly remembered by her many friends. Her vibrant spirit and warmth left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Toronto. With heavy hearts, the family of Russell Albert Bell announces his peaceful passing on November 25, 2024, at the age of 96, at Humber River Hospital. Born on August 15, 1928, in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Russell was a devoted father, loving partner, and a cherished grandfather.
Russell is survived by his sons Donald (Jacqueline) and Christopher (Jessica), and his grandsons Travis and Wolfgang. He was predeceased by his daughter Rosalind (Lenny), grandson Jeffrey, granddaughter Taylor, the mother of his children Donna, and his beloved partner Nancy. A guiding figure and friend to many, Russ was known for his humor, kindness, and zest for life.
After moving to Toronto at the age of 17, Russell embarked on a 45-year career at Stauffer Chemical Company, rising to a supervisory role. In retirement, he shared joyful years with Nancy, raising their rescue poodle, Gemma. Russ loved nature, the music of Gordon Lightfoot, and sharing meals with his family, especially enjoying Chinese food and apple pie.
The family extends their gratitude to the compassionate staff at Humber Heights and Humber River Hospital for their dedicated care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wilfred Schlegel Hope Fund are appreciated (donate here).

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick James Whitney, who died peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto on November 26, 2024, following a heart attack, with family by his side. Born on the Miramichi, NB, on March 15, 1940, Patrick was a man of resilience, warmth, and integrity who touched many lives.
Patrick is deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Camie Tang-Chang, his children Jane Parker (John) and Jim Whitney (Jane), and his grandchildren Josh, Hayden, Emily, Brock, and Georgia. He was also a proud “bonus father” to Theresa and Laura. Surviving siblings Mona, Wilma, Donna, Linda, Rosalie, and Robert, as well as sister-in-law Heather, friend Mary, nieces Natalie and Aimée, and the van Feggelen family, mourn his loss. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Evelyn, his ex-wife Lynn, and siblings Fay and Laurie.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Davey Sproule on November 25, 2024, at the age of 96. Bruce leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and remarkable accomplishments.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of 66 years, Fay Alice Yvonne, Bruce was a loving father to Mark Sproule (Myrtle) of Calgary, Wendy Stack (Tim) of Oakville, and Kimberley of Mississauga. He was a proud grandfather to Rory, Shannon (Andrew), Jacqueline (Arthur), Laura, Connor (Sierra), Maeve, and Helen (James), and a cherished great-grandad to Lyla and Cole. Bruce was also predeceased by his brother Robert (Gwen Sproule), sister Madelon (Don MacLeod), and sister-in-law Viki Prystawski (Walter).
Born in Toronto, Bruce attended Parkdale Collegiate and began his career as a teacher in a one-room schoolhouse near Orangeville. He later dedicated over 35 years to Ontario Hydro as an executive in human resources and labor relations, forming many lifelong friendships.
Bruce was a gifted athlete, playing and coaching basketball and badminton. He was an ardent supporter of the arts, a talented pianist, and an avid reader. Known for his storytelling, Bruce was often found sharing compelling tales at family gatherings. His hobbies included black-and-white photography, genealogy, stamp collecting, and exploring history. As an extensive world traveler, he cherished visits to Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Thailand, and across Canada.
Among Bruce’s many lifetime achievements were receiving the prestigious Arbor Award for service to the University of Toronto, serving as President of the Associates of Erindale College, and dedicating 25 years to the Canadian Mental Health Association. He was also a board committee member of the Board of Stewards at Erindale United Church. With his wife Fay, he built their family home from the ground up.

Frank found serenity in his garden, spending countless hours enjoying the beauty of his backyard. He was also a passionate golf and soccer enthusiast, a devoted supporter of Celtic FC.
Frank was the beloved husband of the late Jane, a loving father to David (Jennifer Lau) and Amanda (David Agius), and a devoted grandfather to Madison, Avery, Zechariah, Emily (Jesse), and the late Corey (Katherine Tyrer). He was also a proud great-grandfather to Isabelle, Ben, and Jaxon.
