September 18, 1951 – December 1, 2024

With deep love and heavy hearts, the family of Susan A. Gaudry (Wright) announces her sudden passing on December 1, 2024. Susan was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother whose absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her.

Susan is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Jack Gaudry, and their children: Dale Gaudry (Kelly), Christie Kelly (Larry), and Danielle Kozyra (Mark). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Tiana Gaudry (Benton), Ben, Carter, Josh, Zack Kelly, and Aaron and Skylar Kozyra. Susan is also lovingly remembered by her siblings Rick Wright (Brenda), Dan Wright (Carol), Linda Johnson, Bev Delarue (Ralph), and Shawn Prochnau (Ashley), as well as by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Clifford Wright and June Gill, her grandmother Edith Robbins, and her beloved son Clark and son-in-law Paul.

Susan spent her childhood in Port Arthur, Ontario, and her life was defined by her dedication to family. She met Jack, the love of her life, at just 14 years old, and they married at 19. Susan’s love for her family extended into her career and hobbies, and she cherished creating memories with her grandchildren, camping, and enjoying nature.

Susan’s life will be celebrated on Monday, December 30th, 2024, at Lakehead University in the Faculty Lounge, beginning at 1:00 PM. Free parking will be available in Lots G13 and G14. Interment will take place at a later date. Online condolences may be shared at www.sargentandson.com.
