WILLIAMS, Gerald Michael  - October 3, 1934 – February 6, 2021

Gerry was born in Perth, Ontario and passed away at Belvedere Heights Home for the Aged, Parry Sound, Ontario.

He was the beloved son of the late Thomas Williams and Carmel Grennon.

Gerry was predeceased by his loving wife Donna (Dunville 2012). Gerry is survived by his son Michael (Susan) Williams and daughter Dawn Williams.

Loving grandfather of Ryan (Cathleen) and Mathew (Nicole) Williams and great-grandfather of Hannah and Sophia Williams. Gerry was a longtime resident of Malton and was employed by Avro Canada in the 1950's at the time of the Avro Arrow Programme and was privileged to see the first Arrow take flight in March 1958.

He was also at Avro when the Arrow was cancelled on "Black Friday" February 20, 1959. Gerry is fondly remembered by his siblings Patrick (Gloria) Williams, Marie (Basil) Pacini and Carmel (Robert) Primeau.

He was predeceased by six of his brothers, Edward (Elva deceased), James (Lois deceased), Frank (Barbara), John (Linda), Donald (Evelyn) and Thomas (Diane deceased). Gerry was the brother-in-law of William (Andree) and Douglas (Dawn) Dunville and the late Joanne McQueen.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Belvedere Heights for their kindness, as this was Gerry's home for the past seven years.

Gerry was a kind and gentle soul and he will be truly missed.

Cremation has taken place. Gerry will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Donna in Parry Sound.
