Gerald Glovasky

October 1, 1941 – November 28, 2024

Gerald Glovasky passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, at the age of 83, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 59 years to Scarlet (nee Dufour), Gerald was a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a source of strength and positivity to all who knew him.

Predeceased by his infant son Gerald Guy, Gerald will be lovingly remembered by his children Patti Fram (Joe), Gerry Glovasky (Courtney Reaume), Katie Desjardins (Tim), and Krysta Glovasky-Ridsdale. Proud Papa to Greg Allan, Cassie, and Brooke Fram; Maddox and Grayson Reaume; Grant and Baron Reaume-Glovasky; Kailyn Andrian (Kyle), Devin Desjardins; and Krystal Bondy-Parry (Donnie). He was a loving Great-Papa to Adeline and Eli Andrian and Elena Bondy-Parry.

Gerald retired as Head of the Guidance Department at Belle River High School after many years of dedicated service. In retirement, he enjoyed wintering in Florida and traveling the world with Scarlet, creating beautiful memories. His kindness, wisdom, and guidance left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Windsor Regional Renal Program staff for their dedicated care and compassion during Gerald’s dialysis treatments over the past five years.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E.) on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to Our Lady of Atonement Church (2940 Forest Glade Dr.) on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
