Barbara Gonyou

October 10, 1933 - February 12, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Barbara Gonyou, in her 92nd year. Barbara passed away peacefully at Vision Nursing and Rest Home.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert Clare Gonyou and grandson Joseph Gonyou. She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Barbara was passionate about antiques and owned Ray’s Antique Shoppe and Corner House Antiques in downtown Sarnia.

Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, Heart and Stroke, or Epilepsy Canada.
