Sheila Kathleen Campbell Goodwin

January 7th, 1952 – December 15th, 2024

Sheila Kathleen Campbell Goodwin passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2024, at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, surrounded by her loving family. Sheila leaves behind her devoted partner of 53 years, George Goodwin, her three sons Christopher (Kimberley), James (Susan), and William (Elizabeth), as well as her beloved grandchildren Nigel and Blythe. She is also survived by her brothers Maurice (Anne) and Colin, and her sister Star (Stephen). Sheila was predeceased by her eldest brother Bruce.

Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, to Sam and Stella Campbell, Sheila pursued higher education at Mount Allison University, graduating in 1974. During her university years, she met George, and they remained inseparable for over five decades. Sheila took great pride in her role as a mother, devoting her life to raising her sons with love and care, and later enjoying the joy of her grandchildren.

Sheila's funeral service will take place at the Church of St. Timothy, 100 Old Orchard Grove, Toronto, on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, at 11 a.m., followed by a reception in the church hall. The service will be streamed online at www.youtube.com/@churchofst.timothynorthtor3290/streams. Visitation with the family will be held at Morley Bedford Funeral Services, 159 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto, on Monday, January 6th, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
