GRILLS, Gordon Carmen - April 28, 1928 - December 19, 2020 - Died peacefully at home after a brief illness in his 93rd year.
Husband of the late Eileen (nee Honeysett).
Father of Matthew and Jocelyn (Don). Grandpa of Marshall and Damon, Griffin (Hannah) and Brodie.
Born in Belleville, Ontario and grew up on a farm. Attended Queen's University (B.A.) and University of Toronto (M.S.W.). Social Worker with the Scarborough Board of Education.
Gord was a Published Poet and valued the written word, particularly Philosophy, Psychology, Poetry and Literature.
Second Dan Black Belt in Karate; Long Distance Runner; Avid Volleyball Player until age 91! Life-long supporter of Amnesty International; Fierce Advocate for Canada's Social Programs.
Gord will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
