In Loving Memory

After a brief illness, our beloved mother passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, Roger. Barbara dedicated her life to raising her family and will be deeply missed by her children, Anita (Glenn), Paul (Gail), and Laurie (Mark).
Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she will forever be remembered by Shanley (Daniel), Shawn (Amanda), and Bryce. She also took great joy in being a Nanny to her great-grandchildren, Finley, Callum, Makai, and Raiden.

For those who knew Barb and Roger (as there was never one without the other), they bore witness to a beautiful love story. They built a life so fulfilling that when she was recently asked whether there was anything she wished they had done but hadn’t, her response was simply "no." A life lived with no regrets is a precious gift she has left behind.

Over the years, they formed many friendships, and their door was always open for love, laughter, dancing, and plenty of food.

To the family and friends who have been by our side, we thank you. Your love and support have meant so much. A special thank you to Dr. Michael Borchuk for his exceptional care and kindness toward our mother—your compassion will always be remembered.

Mom, we are with you, you are with us—always together in our hearts. Go peacefully, free of pain. Your grandson BJ is waiting to welcome you with open arms.

As per her request, there will be no formal service. However, with her blessing, a celebration of life will be held in the summer to honor an exceptional wife, mother, and woman—with love, laughter, dancing, and plenty of food.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
