Alfred James Harness
who passed away on January 18th at the age of 98. Missed by his partner of 22 years, Anne. He leaves behind one sister, Jean Harness and many nieces and nephews. He moved to the farm at nine months old and lived in the same house all his life. He was a dedicated farmer in a cow/calf operation. He will be greatly missed. The funeral will be held Saturday January 25th, 2025 at Newcastle Funeral Home, 386 Mill St S., Visitation 11-12 followed by a service at noon. Interment to take place at Orono Cemetery. In memory of Alfred, donations may be made to the Clarington East Food Bank.
