Terry Harper

June 18, 1956 – November 7, 2024

It is with a heavy heart that we announce Terry’s passing unexpectedly at home on November 7, 2024, at the age of 68.

Terry is predeceased by his parents, Jack and Mary Harper, and his sister, Judy Harper. He leaves behind his daughters, Katie and Tara (Brandon Beers), along with their mother, Diana Harper. He was a proud grandfather to Rachel and Morgan Beers and is mourned by his siblings Jane Barry (Jim) of British Columbia, Mike Harper (Cathy) of Cobourg, Wendy Harper, and Nancy Harper of Oshawa. Terry was also a beloved uncle to many nephews.

A devoted sports enthusiast, Terry especially loved hockey (a loyal Leafs fan) and baseball, a passion he shared with his daughter Katie. Known for his skill with his hands, Terry had a remarkable talent for building, refinishing, and repairing, which he pursued with dedication throughout his life.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SickKids or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Terry’s memory.
