Jean Margaret Heard

September 25, 1936 – April 28, 2025

Jean Margaret Heard (née Bullock) passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on April 28, 2025, in her 89th year at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

Devoted wife of the late Al Heard. Loving mother of the late Kenny Heard, Ellen (Brian) Paul, Janice Heard, and Bradley (Vickie) Heard. Dear grandmother to Ashley, Emily, Andrea, Michael, Ben, Liz, Matthew, Becca, and Allison. Great-grandmother to Graham, Seth, Eller, Harper, and Simon.

Jean was a cherished sister to Betty Baraball and the late Ruth Stacey. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends whose lives she touched with her grace and warmth.

Visitation will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville, ON. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer to further honour Jean’s memory.

Jean’s legacy of love and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
