Erik Thomas Holmes

November 2, 1989 - November 23, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Erik Thomas Holmes on November 23, 2024. Born on November 2, 1989, Erik was a beloved son, brother, and uncle. He will forever remain in the hearts of his mother, Wendy Holmes, and sisters Katie Holmes and Nicki Reitzema (Wiert). Erik was a proud uncle to Colby, Molly, Max, Hank, and Lola. He is now reunited with his late father, Bob Holmes, which brings comfort to those who loved him.

Erik was an animal lover, an exceptional chef, and a passionate fan of hockey and lacrosse. His love for life, warm personality, and talents will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Please join us to celebrate and remember Erik's life on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Port House, 2020 Lakeshore Road in Burlington, Ontario.

In honour of Erik’s memory, the family kindly requests donations to CAMH or The Burlington Humane Society as expressions of sympathy.
