John Ross Hughson

July 7, 1954 - January 14, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved John Ross Hughson. John was a loving husband to Linda and a devoted stepfather to Rob (Renee) and Anne (Mark). He was an incredible, loving Papa to Hannah and Joshua. His kindness and gentle spirit will be deeply missed.

As Shakespeare so beautifully said, “May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.”

Service Details

Visitation: Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 12:00 noon in the Barnes Chapel.

Reception: Following the service, a reception will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
