BLAIKLOCK, Ian - Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, February 22, 2024, in his 91st year.
Ian was born on July 28, 1933 in Toronto and moved to Peterborough as a very young child.
Beloved husband of 54 years to Anke (nee Steindorff). Predeceased by his sister, Rosemary Duncan (Ken); and by his brother, James (Peggy).
Remembered lovingly by his many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and their families.
Ian spent most of his working life at Peterborough Card and Paper. Ian and Anke enjoyed many summers at their cottage on the north shore of Stoney Lake where they enjoyed wonderful times with their extended Huycke, Blaiklock and Duncan families.
Ian loved the outdoors and could often be found skiing at Bethany/Devil’s Elbow or Kawartha Nordic Ski Club.
He was a long-time member of the Peterborough Golf and Country Club, the YMCA and St. Lukes Anglican Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service in the Chapel of Highland Park Funeral Centre on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 2:00pm. Reception to follow.
