MADIMENOS, Irini - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irini Madimenos, peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday August 20, 2020.
Irini is survived by her loving children Penny (Jim) and Jim (Tara).
Doting Yiayia to Lillian, Erin, Dimitrios and Alexzander.
Proud Great-Grandmother to Jerry.
Irini will be greatly missed by generations of family and lifelong friends both in Canada and in Greece. She will always be remembered for her generosity, kindness, sense of humour, and big heart. Her devotion to family was second to none. May her memory be eternal.
The family will receive friends at Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto on Tuesday, August 25th, 2020 from 5 to 9 PM. A funeral service will take place at St. Irene Chrysovalantou Greek Orthodox Church, 66 Gough Ave. Toronto on Wednesday, August 26th, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada will be appreciated.
