IRIS, Meta Joan (nee Smith) - Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Grey Bruce Regional Health Services in Owen Sound on Friday September 11th, 2015 at the age of 76.
Beloved wife and best friend to Ralph Iris for 58 years.
Loving mother of Audrey Iris-McDonald (AJ), Ruth Loquercio (John Robison), Ralph Iris, Edward Iris, and Elizabeth Tamblyn.
Cherished grandma/nana to Andrea (Daryl), Jennifer (Derek), Michael, Patrick and great grandma “Banana” to Malaya and Clarabelle. Dear sister to Marie Alston (Ron) and Diane Laudahn (Dieter).
Predeceased by her parents John and Meta Smith (nee Stubbings) and her brother Ron Smith.
Joan will be fondly remembered her nieces and nephews, her other relatives and many friends.
A funeral Service held in Owen Sound on September 14, 2015. Rev. Roy Nicol-Macdonald officiating.
