HOLMES, James Beggs - Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Village of Taunton Mills on December 5, 2015 in his 90th year.
Beloved husband of Susan for 61 years.
Loved and loving dad to the late Patricia McMorran, and Colleen Gill (Ken).
Cherished grandpa of Greg (Brie), Ashley (Mike), and Jennifer (Kevin) and adored great-grandfather of Gryson, Wyatt and Lily.
James is survived by his sisters Peggy & Nora (Roy) and is predeceased by his 3 brothers.
James will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby 905-655-3662 on Thursday December 10th from 11:00 – 12:00 followed by a service honouring James’ life in the Barnes Chapel at 12:00 noon.
A celebration reception will follow at The Royal Canadian Legion Brooklin.
In memory of James, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
