Beloved husband of Vi (nee Haynes). Dear father of Monica (Angelo) Mellas of Ohio and Garrett (Nicole) Mitchell of Fergus. Cherished Papa of Gracie, Mark, James and Ryker. Dear brother of Betty-Mae (Wayne) Sutherland and Anne Marie (John) Ritchie.
Predeceased by his parents Earl and Evaleen and his brother Melvin (Ann) Mitchell. James will be missed by all of the members of the Haynes and Mitchell families.
The family would like to thank all of the wonderful Doctors and Nurses at Groves for their care and compassion.
The family will receive friends for Visitation at Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main Street South, Erin on Wednesday, August 30th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
