Lawrence G. Jandron
December 28, 1932 – March 31, 2025
Lawrence (Larry) Jandron passed peacefully on March 31, 2025, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, at the age of 92. He was the devoted husband of Leola for 68 wonderful years, loving father to Jennifer (Mark), Julie (Glenn), Jane (Ian), and Peter (Jamie), and proud grandfather to Thomas (Maria) and Emily.
Born in Montreal, QC, and raised in the Eastern Townships, Larry attended Bishop’s University before beginning a long and successful career as a Professional Purchasing Manager. In 1979, he and his family moved from Drummondville, QC to Bowmanville, ON, where he lived out the remainder of his career and retirement.
Larry embraced retirement fully, indulging in his passions for music and travel. He found joy in playing the guitar, attending bluegrass concerts, and was a proud member of the Bowmanville Legion. His vibrant personality and genuine kindness touched the lives of many, creating a legacy of laughter and friendship.
In his later years, he resided at The Bowmanville Creek Retirement Home, where he was surrounded by the support of new friends, caring staff, and the constant presence of his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m.
