BENNUN, Joan Russell (nee BAULD and WADE) - Joan Bennun died on November 6, 2023, just after her 89th birthday, and following a lengthy illness with dementia. GJ (Granny Joan), as the family called her, had a peaceful end to her long and eventful life.
She was predeceased by her husband, Max Bennun.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Carol (Jaime), Peter (Yvonne) and Michael (Patrice); her 6 grandchildren, (Cameron, Katie, Isaac, Josh, Nathan and Mary); and her many friends that she considered family.
The family will be holding a celebration of Joan's life on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 16 Cameron Crescent, Toronto from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
All are welcome to attend to share memories and stories.
