Hon. LCol. (Retired) CD After a rewarding and fulfilling life, Herb passed away December 29, 2023, at the age of 94, in Brampton, ON.
Beloved husband of Joyce Estelle (Mancuso) for 67 years.
Cherished father of JoAnne, Helene (Dave) and Sean (Ellen). Loving Poppy to Stephanie (Jamie), Ashley (Liam), Jordan (Larissa), Andrew, Madeline, Zachary, Delainy, Bridget, Dylan, Rogan and Charlotte.
Treasured great-grandfather of Nathan, Rory and Robin. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, ON, to John Joseph Doyle and Helen Rose Chace.
Predeceased by his dear sister, Dorothy Ann Doyle. Herb had a long, distinguished career in finance with American Can Canada Inc. (Onex Packaging / Ball Packaging), achieving the role of Corporate Treasurer.
He was also extremely proud of his years of dedicated service with The Royal Hamilton Light Infantry (Wentworth Regiment).
He was truly an officer and a gentleman.
A Visitation will be held for Mr. Doyle, Thursday, January 4, 2024, at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery, 10061 Chinguacousy Rd., Brampton, ON L7A 0H6, from 3-7 p.m, followed by a Funeral Service at St. John Fisher Church, 300 Balmoral Dr., Brampton, ON L6T 1V6, Friday, January 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Burial to follow.
