John Eric George Shreve

1936 - February 17, 2025

Passed away at home with his loving wife by his side on Monday, February 17, 2025, in his 89th year. But John liked to tell everyone he was 90 for the free stuff.

Beloved husband of Beverley for 62 years. Sadly missed by his children Wade (Jennifer), Tanya (Kevin), and his granddaughter Brooke. Devoted friend of Dylan.

Survived by his sister Joan and predeceased by his brothers Edward (survived by Audrey) and Robert.

John worked as a material handler for Oshawa Public Utilities for over 30 years. The Entertainer will be missed by extended family and many friends.

A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787) with visitation at 11 a.m., until the time of service at 12 p.m.
