Elsie Marie Jones (nee Shea)

1931 – 2024

Peacefully, with family by her side, at Bluewater Health on December 13, 2024, Elsie Marie Jones (nee Shea) passed away in her 94th year. Cherished wife of the late William "Bill" Jones (2005), Elsie will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

She was the loving mother of Shirley (George) Lawson, Don (Connie), Donna (Norman) McAuslan, and Marilyn (Don Campbell). Devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren and proud great-grandmother to 14 great-grandchildren. Elsie is survived by her sister Hazel Higgins and her sister-in-law Shirley Shea. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received at Denning’s of Watford for visitation on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Denning’s of Watford. Interment will take place at Watford Cemetery.
