Joyce Madeline McBride (née Boon), died peacefully at Hyland Crest in Minden on September 8, 2023.
Heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the wonderful staff at Hyland Crest.
Joyce was born 90 years ago in Toronto to Ambrose and Madeline Boon.
She was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, William McBride.
Their lifelong friends, four daughters, seven grandchildren and one great- grandchild will remember her loving wisdom and keen interest in their lives.
Cremation has taken place. Friends are welcome at a celebration of Joyce's life at Grace United Church, 350 Grove St. E., Barrie, on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 1:30 p.m., followed by a reception at the church. A graveside service will be held at in Etobicoke, on Monday, September 25, 2023.
Joyce's chosen charity is the Canadian Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal.
