Avery Larissa Marie Kakekagumick

May 17, 2000 - January 9, 2025

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ms. Avery Kakekagumick on January 9, 2025, age 24. She was surrounded by her loved ones when she succumbed to a severe brain injury. Avery was born on May 17, 2000. Avery was the eldest daughter of Shannon Kakepetum and the late Danny Kakekagumick.

She took pride in caring for her daughter Isabelle Kakegamic (4 yrs). Avery’s friends and family will miss her laughter and gentle nature.

The viewing and service will take place at Everest Funeral Chapel, 420 Gore St. W, on January 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Following the service will be a reception at New Life Christian Fellowship, 203 Ogden Street, at 1:30 p.m. The interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3200 Oliver Road, at 2:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
