James "Jim" Kakuk

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Kakuk on January 4, 2025. Beloved husband of Carol for 50 years and a devoted father to Mike (Kelly) and Steve (Melissa). Jim was a fun-loving Papa to Matthew and Jason. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Steve and his brothers Frank and Steve.

Jim was a professional engineer and part-owner of Fuller Construction until his retirement in 2007. He was a kind man whose sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Memorial visitation will be held at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Visiting continues on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
