LEE, Karen Chong Cha Lee -
June 16, 1949 - April 14, 2024
eacefully passed away on April 14th, 2023 at Mariposa House Hospice.
Throughout her long hard fought battle with cancer, it could not crush the spirit that saw her immigrate to Toronto in the early 80's and joyfully settle in Beaverton for the past 38 years.
Karen loved seeing the neighbourhood children grow while serving them various sundries at our small store called The Hodge Podge.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ken, and son Bryan.
Funeral service will be held at the Mangan Funeral Home on Friday April 19, 2024 at 11 A.M. (the service will be held in Korean) A visitation will be held following the service from 12-1 P.M.
If so desired, memorial donations to Mariposa House Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
