MONTAGUE, Karen McPhail - Passed away suddenly, on November 15, 2023, in her 61st year.
Karen was the beloved wife of Wayne; loving mother of Kyle; and devoted daughter of Anne McPhail and the late Robert McPhail.
She was a loving sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, cousin and niece.
Karen was a retired special education teacher. She was passionate about teaching, and dedicated to and loved by her students.
Karen accomplished her Bachelor of English and her Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, and continued her dedication to learning and her students with special education qualifications from the Nipissing University.
Karen cherished time with her family, friends and colleagues. Her smile and laughter lit up a room, and she was always the first to help family or friends that needed her. Karen is dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Karen's life will be planned in the days to come.
