It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shawn Kelly, who passed away peacefully at the age of 54 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Shawn was the devoted husband of Renee and the late Shelley (2011). He was a proud father to Serena (Curtis) and Connor, and the beloved son of Michael and Lisette Kelly (née Gadoury). Shawn was also a cherished son-in-law to Marcel (Deborah) Lefebvre, Denise (Ralph) Brosseau, and Jim (Marilyn) Verbeem (late Maureen Medel).

Shawn will be deeply missed by his brothers, James and Derek (Tanya), and by his brothers- and sisters-in-law: Kiki (Dave), Damien (Emily), Greg (Alicia), Chris (Natalie), and Sue. He is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, close friends, and his faithful dog Gracie. Shawn was known for his love of family, his work as a business owner of Creative Homescapes, and his sense of humor, generosity, and passion for life. A dedicated Toronto Maple Leafs fan, Shawn enjoyed golfing, skiing, sports cars, and connecting with others.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Windsor Chapel Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd in Windsor, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Shawn may be made to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation or Transition to Betterness.
