SHORE, Kenneth Gilmore - Following a long and fulfilling life, with family by his side, Ken left us peacefully on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in his 98th year.
He was predeceased by his wife and love of his life for 67 years, Marian.
Ken will be greatly missed but always remembered by their kids Lyn (Bryan), Roy(predeceased) (Maureen), and Dave (Mary).
Much loved 'Papa' to Chris (Ivy), Carrie, Adam (Rebecca), Emily (Andrew), Daniel, Kate and Will.
Great grandpa ('Big Papa') to Nathan, Maeve, Cameron, Chelsie and Hudson.
Throughout his career, Ken displayed considerable natural entrepreneurial acumen; at one point being a very hands-on administrator for 3 companies simultaneously.
Together, Ken and Marian enjoyed family and friends, travel, the cottage on Cameron lake, or catching some sun at their place in Florida, all the while caring for and supporting each other.
Due to Covid, a private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family would very much appreciate consideration of a donation to Hill House Hospice, Hospice and Palliative care, Richmond Hill...thank you.
