Eleanor (nee Jennings) in her 86th year, beloved wife of the late Jake Demchuk.
Much loved mother of Garry and his wife Erika. Cherished grandmother of Patrisha, Christina, Jennifer and Nathan.
Will be lovingly remembered by her 10 great grandchildren.
Dear sister of Betty Morton, Marilyn Thompson and Garfield Jennings.
Predeceased by 4 sisters and by 1 brother. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service for Eleanor will be held at the Gananoque Cemetery on Friday July 6, 2018 at 11:00 am.

Peacefully with family by her side, in her 95th year, at the Fairmount Nursing Home.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur Twigg. Survived by her loving son Kirk (Wendy), grandchildren Jennifer Hamilton (Ian) and Catilin Lutz (Paul) and great-grandchildren Claire and Brock Hamilton.
Sister of Joyce (Don) Bellringer.
Predeceased by brother Don Wilkinson and sister Shirley Amey (late Bud).
Survived also by brother-in-law James Twigg (Marylou) and sister-in-law Norma Esford (late Herb).
Fondly remembered by Evan, Ken and Gayle, Wayne and Cathy and her dear Fairmount friends.
Missed by many nieces and nephews.
We deeply appreciate the kind, wonderful and compassionate care given to Evelyn during her year at Fairmount.
She loved her caregivers and enjoyed the conversations and moments of laughter, enriching her final years of life.
Our deepest gratitude to Pastor Lewis for his enduring kindness and friendship as well.
Visitation will be held at the James Reid Funeral at 1:30-3pm on Thursday July 5, 2018 followed by a chapel service at 3pm and burial. The family would like to welcome everyone back to the James Reid Reception Centre for refreshments after the burial.

CORSI, Giancarlo Domenico (John) - May 3rd, 1947 – June 29th, 2018
John did not want to leave.
There was still so much to do with his family and friends, especially his little flower, granddaughter Azalea.
Surrounded by his family, John passed away on June 29th, 2018 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
He is pre-deceased by his parents Michele and Amelia.
John leaves behind his wife Judy (nee Clemens), daughter Dana (Mark), son Mike (Emily), granddaughter Azalea, step-grandson Braeden, and furry companion Jojo.
He is also survived by his sisters Adriana Rollins (Phil) and Mary Corsi, his Aunt Geraldine Corsi and numerous cousins.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Katherine Lockington, John’s physician and family friend, who oversaw his journey from day one.
Thank you also to a wonderful network of friends and colleagues who supported John during his illness.
John received excellent, compassionate care at the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario, from Vicki Johnson of the SE NELHIN and her palliative team, and during his stay in the Palliative Care Unit at Providence Care. Thank you.
There will be a visitation for John on Wednesday July 4th from 4-7pm at the James Reid Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be on Thursday July 5, 2018 at 11am at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish on Days Road in Kingston. Everyone is welcome to follow in procession to Cataraqui Cemetery following the funeral mass for the burial and then to the James Reid Reception Centre for a final salute to John’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations be made to either the Cancer Center of Southeastern Ontario or the Kingston Humane Society.

ROSE, Steven Vincent - July 2, 1957- June 29, 2018
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Steven V. Rose on June 29th, from cancer.
Steve will be sorely missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
He will be remembered for his leadership, work ethic, service to his profession, mentoring, good humour, wisdom and love of his family and friends.
Steve gained a passion for travel growing up and living in various countries abroad as his dad’s work had his family moving every 1-2 years.
He graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in geological engineering in ‘81 and followed that up with a master’s in civil engineering from USC.
He started his career in California where he met his wife Margit through a Sierra Club mountaineering course.
Steve enjoyed various hobbies including backpacking, rock climbing, stamp collecting, riding his motorcycle, beer tasting, listening to live music, helping out on various professional committees, and mentoring students at Queen’s.
In 1989 Steve and his business partner founded their own company in Kingston, Malroz Engineering.
In 2010 he was awarded the PEO Order of Honour and in 2018 the OSPE President’s Award for volunteering.
He was immensely proud of his 3 children, Hayley, Becky and Nick.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the U.H.K.F. (Kingston Cancer Centre) or to the Al Gorman fund at Queen’s University.
A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.

WEBSTER, Alex (Tobe) - It is with great sadness the family of Alex (Tobe) Webster announces his passing after a stubborn 3 year battle with pancreatic cancer.
He will be lovingly missed by his wife Julia, his children Michelle (Jerry), Scott (Donna), Peter (Evan), and Katie (Geoff) along with his grandchildren Nicki, Kylie, Lucas, William, Caleb, Jacob, Matthew and Brynleigh.

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at the age of 75 years.
Beloved husband of Joanne (Terrance) Thompson and cherished father of Chad Thompson and Angela (Mark) Roles.
Ben will be fondly remembered by his grandson Kyle Shettles; his brother Lorne Thompson (Angela); his sister Edith Joyce; his sister-in-law Geri Thompson; by his brother-in-law Brian (Sandra) Terrance and by several nieces and a nephew.
Predeceased by his parents Francis and Myrtle Thompson.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Major Angus Joseph MacGillivray on June 27th, 2018 at the age of 95.
"Gus" was the oldest child of the late Joseph Anthony MacGillivray and Alphonsine Caulier of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Dear husband of Rosemary Parisien for the past 32 years.
Predeceased by his first wife of 31 years - the late Bernadette LeBlanc.
He will be sadly missed by his seven children - David (Dot Parr) MacGillivray of St. Albert - Alberta, Peter (Melanie Driver) MacGillivray of Orleans - Ontario, Carol (Wolf) Jacobi of Dartmouth - Nova Scotia, Susan Brule of Kingston - Ontario, Diane (Rick) Harper of Brighton - Ontario, Brian (Laurie Berry) MacGillivray of Kingston - Ontario and Barbara (Richard) Wiens of Kanata - Ontario.
Granddad will be lovingly remembered by his 19 grandchildren - Christine (Daniel Booth), Raegan (Scott Storry), Adam (Chantal Fournier), Victoria (Mike Mokriy), Ashlea Bolt, Petra (Jonathan Corkum), Tiffany (Jamie Hanna), Simon (Samantha Small), Alexander (Jenny Harahan), Michael, Mark (Jacqueline Murphy), Andrew, Jennifer, Nicolas, Tyler, Evan, Kendra, Hannah and Benjamin.
In addition, he was a doting Great "G-G-POP" to his 13 great-grandchildren Ava, Breyah, Surrey and Callum MacGillivray, Addison and Jacob Storry, Landon and Allie Corkum, Amelia Bolt, Arlo Jacobi , William MacGillivray-Booth, Stella Mokriy and Clarke Hanna.
Gus is survived by two sisters - Leonie Brown and Anne (Jim) Smith of Halifax, Nova Scotia and numerous nephews and nieces. Gus was predeceased by his three brothers - Anthony (Vivian), Francis (Sally) and John (Judy).
Also lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Jane Anderson (Douglas) and brother-in-law Paul Parisien and the extended Parisien family.
We would like to thank the staff of Crestview Terrace at Rideaucrest Nursing Home for their extraordinary care and compassion.
