Perkins DavidPERKINS, David William Perkins - 1938-2018 - who looks outstanding in a tuxedo.

“What dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal coil.”

He was Dad, grandfather, brother, friend, artist, sculptor, teacher, admirer of women, traveller, avid reader, bovine aficionado, dart champ, beer connoisseur and bacon lover.

David’s signature look included blue shirts paired with blue sweaters and blue jeans and perhaps a fashionable khaki jacket (even in the summer).

David spent over 40 years at St. Lawrence College teaching sculpture and drawing.

His students were incredibly lucky to be mentored by a graduate of the Royal Academy of Arts.

He’s going to be missed terribly by his daughters Liz and Rachel, son-in-law Jason and adoring grand-daughters Addison and Anabelle.

He’s leaving quite a legacy for his baby brother John, sister-in-law Dorothy and big sister Thelma.

Ron, Rose and Ted’s Sunday night dinner table won’t be the same without him and Alain is sad to lose his first best friend.

As per David’s wishes, an all-out piss up will be held at the Pilot House at a later date.

And everyone is expected to come with a memory or a story and a designated driver.

David’s family and friends would like to thank the Davies 4 ICU staff at KGH for their kindness and compassionate care.
