THORNTON, John Walter - Suddenly on Saturday, October 24, 2015, we lost a loving husband, father, Papa and friend.
John, affectionately known as "Thunder", was the much loved husband and soul-mate to Louise for 42 years, the proud father of Kelly Sparks (James) and Jennifer Hroch (Jason) and a loving "Papa" and "most special person" to Nathan Sparks.
His canine companion Mikey will miss him too! John was an out-of-the-box thinker; nothing stopped him, until this.
After all, when the boss calls...you go!
John wanted all the friends he gathered over the years to meet and support his family by replacing the sadness with humour.
Please join us at the Christ Church Parish Centre (990 Sydenham Road) with your best "Johnism", on Thursday, October 29, between the hours of 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
