MILSAP, Daniel Lorne Ray - May 17, 2018 - July 12, 2018

Daniel passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH) at the age of one month and twenty-five days. 

Beloved son of Janelle Milsap and Tristian Ray. 

Beloved grandson of Lorne and Linda Milsap, Sherry and Jackie Leteourneau and Tom Ray and Sherry Kinsella. 

Great-grandson of Bonnie and Paul Ray and Cindy and Dave Leteourneau. 

Great-great-grandson of Laura Milsap. 

Daniel will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and his loving friends at Tim Hortons. 

A funeral service was held at St. Thomas' Anglican Church and cremation followed at Cataraqui Cemetery.

Boyce WilliamBOYCE, William "Harry" - 1931-2018 - Retired from Kingston Police Force

Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital, on Thursday, July 12, 2018. 

Beloved husband of Rosie, his beloved wife of 60 years who predeceased him in April of this year. 

Loving father of Greg Boyce (Rhonda) of Kingston and David Boyce (Martha Rodger and the late Debbie Chambers) of Camden East. 

Dear grandfather of Ryan (Stephanie) and Michael; Alexandra, Cassidy and Addison and great-grandfather of Rosealie. 

Survived by his sister Barb Brady (Jim) and predeceased by brother Bert Boyce. 

Harry`s family will gather privately for a service of committal and farewell. 

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kingston Humane Society.

Whalen WilliamWHALEN, William Harold "Bill" - The family of Bill (William Harold) Whalen of Selby are broken-hearted to announce his sudden passing in his sleep at age 54.

Beloved son of Harold and Joan Whalen (Taylor) of Erinsville; Twin brother and soul mate of Barb Way (Dave) of Tamworth; voice of reason to both sister Patti-Ann Whalen (Barry Whalen) of Amherstview and brother Tim (Charlene Clarke) of Odessa.

Cherished uncle of Kallista and Shae-Lynn Way and Taylor and Jenna Whalen.

Doting Cat Dad of “Shelby of Selby”.

Our thoughts go out to Bill’s Cineplex Odeon family who are equally as shocked by the loss of this “sweet, thoughtful man.”

His heart was “pure as crystal.”

A celebration of Bill’s life will take place once the family has had time to grasp this great loss.

Memorial donations made to the L&A Ontario SPCA would honour Bill’s love of animals.

Morgan JohnMORGAN, Dr. John Francis (Jack)MD FRCS (C)

Died peacefully in Kingston, on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the age of 86. 

John is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Doreen. 

Proud Father of Heather van der Wal (Eric) of Seattle and Mary Ellen Doody (Peter) of Ottawa, Grandpa of Jon Doody (Robin Brown), Chris Doody (Jessica Ellison-Doody), Michelle Doody (Justin Mohammed) and Siobhan Doody, and Great-grandpa of Olive and Milo Doody. 

John was a member of the RCAF until 1963, and spent most of his career as an Ophthalmologist at Hotel Dieu Hospital. He was also on faculty at Queen’s University Department of Medicine. 

A very special thank you is extended to Arcadia Home Care for the wonderful and compassionate care that both John and Doreen have received. 

John’s family will receive friends at the James Reid Funeral Home, Kingston, on Tuesday, July 17th from 4:00 – 6:00 pm and on Wednesday, July 18th from 9:00 – 10:50 am, followed by a service celebrating his life in the chapel at 11:00 am.

John was an avid supporter of Ducks Unlimited throughout his life and to continue his great work, donations to that charity or to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in his memory would be appreciated by the family.

Isabel (Boyle) Elks formerly of Brockville and Ottawa aged 92 years.

Beloved wife of 54 years to the late Jim Elks.

Loving mother of James Elks (Joanne) of Brockville and Janet “Kaylin” Elks of Ottawa.

Cherished grandmother of Michael, Eric, Conner and Cameron.

Dear daughter of late George and Rose (Lawlor) Boyle and sister to 13.

Also missed by many nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Funeral Service will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Anglican Parish, 80 Pine St. in Brockville on Monday July 23rd, 2018 at 11 a.m.

Mountenay BrianMOUNTENAY, Brian Arthur - Brian in his 64th year passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.

Beloved son of the late Eileen Faulkner, George Mountenay and step father Lorne Faulkner.

Beloved husband of 20 years to Lisa Mountenay and dearly loved father of Ricky, Mark, Eileen, Eric, Derrick and the late Bradley Mountenay.

Survived by Brother Barry (Donna), Sisters Linda, Lorna (Steve), and Valerie (Roy).

Predeceased by Siblings George, Georgette, Wayne, Ronnie, Ralph, Randy, and Jimmy.

Survived by sister in laws Elaine and Pat. Loved by many grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.

There will be a visitation at the James Reid Funeral Home on Tuesday July 17 from 10-10:50am. A funeral service will be held in the James Reid Chapel at 11am on Tuesday July 17. The Mountenay family invites everyone to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #560 on Montreal Street in Kingston for a reception to follow after the burial.

Donations would be greatly appreciated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Pauline passed away peacefully, a gracious lady to the end. 

Beloved wife of the late Albert McMichael. 

Cherished mother to Rob (deceased), Valerie (Jeff Young), Jamie, and Tim (Jen Pryal). 

Lovingly remembered by brothers Alex (Mary) and Glen (late Joy) MacMillan; brother-in-law John McMichael (late Ruth); grandchildren Aaron (Bianca), Nathan (Tina), Katie, Jessica, Grace and Molly, and great-grandson Sam. 

Our lives have been enriched immeasurably by Pauline`s kind, caring and gentle spirit.

Loving Grandfather of Laura Fuller, Lisa Muggridge (Ben), Jay McNeil (Kathy), Jennifer Winsor, the late Shawn McNeil and Great-grandfather of Ella and Colby. 

Hank will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Frances Langtry (the late Richard), nephew Hartley, nieces Betty Jane and Judy and their families.

Ball BrendaBALL, Brenda Lynn (Hough)CEO of Hubbard and Company Heritage Restoration, Spencerville

Spencerville grew a little darker on 11 July 2018 with the loss of Brenda, who passed away suddenly at the Civic Hospital in Ottawa at the age of 55 years.

Brenda was a tireless community supporter sitting on council in Edwardsburgh-Cardinal and applying her vast experience in business management to the many local organisations she helped over the years, including the Spencerville Mill, the South Grenville Bluegrass Festival, and the Roebuck Education Recreation Association.

Brenda joins her beloved partner Brad Hubbard and father Howard Hough who passed before her.

Brenda is survived by her daughter Stefanie Martin (Ron) and grandchildren Alyssa, Elizabeth and Nicholas, who will miss their “mymy” greatly.

Dear daughter of Verna Brown, step-daughter of James Brown, and sister of Judy Hough (Holmer Berthiaume), Wendy Hough (Michael McAuley), and Wayne Hough (Sue).

Brenda will also be remembered by Brad’s sons Neil and Kirk, many cherished aunts and uncles including Nellie Landon as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a ceremony in celebration of Brenda’s life at 3 PM on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Roebuck Community Centre at 7024 County Rd 18, followed by a reception.

To continue Brenda’s dedication to her community, as well as preserving Brad’s memory, expressions of sympathy donations made to the Bradford M. Hubbard Memorial Fund (please, make cheques payable to the Brockville Community Foundation) will be gratefully acknowledged.
