Agnieszka "Agnes" Kloc
August 21, 1978 - February 18, 2025
Agnieszka "Agnes" Kloc (née Ptaszyńska), born August 21, 1978, passed away on February 18, 2025.
Agnieszka was a beacon of love, kindness, and compassion. She was taken from us too soon but built a legacy that
will forever be cherished by her family and friends. She loved traveling and good food, but most of all, she loved people.
She accepted everyone without judgment and made them feel like they belonged. She wore her heart on her sleeve, and to
know her was a gift. To say that she had a good sense of humor is an understatement. She was a storyteller, and her stories
made you laugh until you cried or cry until you laughed. Her laughter was contagious, and she was beloved by her family,
friends, colleagues, and the patients she worked with for over 20 years as a nurse at the Hospital for Sick Children.
Agnieszka was the adored wife of Arkadiusz Kloc and a nurturing and loving mother to Amelie and Sophie Kloc.
A cherished daughter of Alicja and Bogdan Ptaszyński and treasured daughter-in-law of Hanna and Witold Kloc.
As a sister, she was dearly loved by Kasia Smulczynska (née Ptaszyńska) and her family, and was a dearest sister-in-law
to Marcin Kloc and his family. Her love extended to her nieces and nephews, Monika, Oliva, Ella, Adam, Maya, Natalia,
Lenka, and Aden.
Visitors are welcome to honor and celebrate Agnieszka’s life as of 11:00 AM on February 21 at
Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home (64 Lakeshore Rd West, Oakville, L6K 1E1),
followed by a service at 1:00 PM at St. Anthony of Padua Polish Roman Catholic Parish (40 John St., Oakville, L6K 1G8).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
When you think of Agnieszka, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short
and should be lived to the fullest. She will be missed more than any words could express, but she will be forever
in our hearts until we meet again.
Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home.
