Kai (Kayla) Lantigua

February 13, 1997 – November 15, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our cherished child, Kai, at the age of 27. Kai is deeply loved and missed by his mom, Karen Lantigua, dad, Gary O'Brien, and brother, Stuart O'Brien. Fondly remembered by grandparents Neil and the late Mary McWatt, and Mary and William O'Brien. Kai will also be dearly missed by uncles Neil McWatt, Paul O'Brien, and Dave O'Brien; cousins Ki and Seia McWatt; his partner, and many dear friends.

Described by all who knew him as one of the kindest souls they had ever met, Kai's brilliance shone brightly in all he pursued. A graduate of Carleton University with a degree in Psychology and Durham College with a diploma in Video Production, Kai was incredibly talented, driven, and creative. Kai's true legacy lies in the lives he touched. His compassion, empathy, and unwavering kindness will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
