In Loving Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Wife, Mom, and Nana, Janice L. Lee. She was a woman of unwavering love and strength, always there for her family. Jan passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 5, 2025.

Loving wife for over 56 years to Terry, mother to Kevin (predeceased) and Joyce, Dana (nee Lee) and Dave Welsh, Cameron and Leea, Chad and Tonya. Cherished Nana to Rebecca, Justin, Mackenzie, Veronica, Carter, Kassady, and Melaine. Sister to Doug and Monee, Jeff and Andy, and Jody. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jan was passionate about sports, including slow-pitch, volleyball, and bowling. She especially loved watching her grandchildren play ringette, hockey, lacrosse, and other activities—always cheering them on with a treat in hand. She was deeply involved in Square Dancing, participating in the TD Convention for close to 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking cakes, creating chocolate animals, styling hair, sewing, and crocheting. Jan loved camping, family dinners, and hosting seasonal parties.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Ridges Hospice in appreciation of the incredible care they provided to Mom.

Celebration of Life: Please join the family in celebrating Jan’s life on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 12 PM - 5 PM at Chad and Tonya’s residence: 15 Ravenview Drive, Whitby, ON. Let’s come together to share cherished memories with family and friends.
