Therese Marie Levasseur
17-Oct-1926 - 19-Oct-2024

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Therese Marie Levasseur, on October 19, 2024, just two days after her 98th birthday. Therese was a French Canadian, born in New Brunswick, and one of eight children. She moved to Toronto, where she met her husband Guy at a French club. They married in 1964 and shared over 40 wonderful years together. Afterward, they relocated to Ajax to be closer to family.

Predeceased by her husband Guy (2006), her parents Amanda and Ivon, and her brothers Ivan and Clorice, Therese is survived by her loving sisters Adrienne and Doris, and her brothers Ron (Bernice) and Cam (Madge). Her legacy lives on through her cherished daughters Monique and Ginette, son-in-law Brendan, and grandchildren Amanda and Ryan. Therese was proud to have extended family through the MacSweeney family, including Garrett and Kathleen and their children Garrett (Rachelle), Cormac (Laura), and Kevin (Nicole), along with their families.

Therese was most known for her love of children, working many years as a school lunch supervisor. She was a vibrant presence in her community, known for her love of dancing and socializing. Her kindness, strength, and endless positivity left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and her many acquaintances.
