Ronald Murray Lightfoot
1942 - October 8, 2024

Ronald Murray Lightfoot passed away peacefully on October 8, 2024, in his 82nd year. He was the cherished husband of Evelyn B. (née Furry) for 56 years and a loving father to the late Mark (2010) and David. Ron was also a proud grandfather to Teagan and Jacob. He was affectionately known as "Ronnie" by his siblings Craig and Crystal, and he is predeceased by his brothers John and Wayne. He will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews.

Ron worked as an Advertising Representative with The Hamilton Spectator for many years and was a proud member of the Road Runners Car Club. His passion for cars and his work in advertising left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Special thanks are extended to the caring staff of 3E at Juravinski Hospital for their wonderful care during his final days.

Family and friends will be received at Elliott Heights Baptist Church, 1300 Fennell Ave. E., on Saturday, October 26th, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. A private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, due to allergies, the family kindly requests donations be made to Elliott Heights Baptist Church in Ron's memory.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Ronald Murray Lightfoot. May his memory bring comfort during this difficult time, and your thoughts and kind words are greatly appreciated.

Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home.
