SENIOR, Lilieth Monica - Of Scarborough, Ontario went to be with her Lord in her 87th year on January 6, 2017, having succumbed to a respiratory infection.
Lilieth, born February 4, 1930 to parents Ezekiel Brown and Gertrude Gayle in Morgan Forest, Clarendon, Jamaica, was surrounded by the comfort and company of her family following a life well lived.
Lilieth is survived by Elizabeth (sister), Rose (aunt), children Trevor, Patricia (Tony), Paulette, Carol (Emmanuel), Charles (Debbie) and Deborah (Anthony).
As an extremely proud grandmother and great-grandmother she is commemorated by Garth, Jahmar, Sasha, Michael, Raisha, Dwayne, Tamara, Robyn, Jermayne, Lilian, Ruth, Trurell, Maceo, Azjani, Micah and Eden and Khadeeja, Austin, Imani and Amari.
Celebration of life and service will be held at McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME at 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, 905-428-8488. Viewing will take place Thursday, January 19th, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be Friday, January 20th, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1757 Church Street N., Ajax and reception at St. Nedela Macedonian Orthodox Church, 485 Bayly St. W., Ajax from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
In honour of the outstanding care received during her stay with the special 6 East and 6 West staff at Baycrest, as well as the staff at Malvern Family Resource Centre, donations can be made in her name to either the Baycrest Foundation or Malvern Family Resource Centre.
