Linda May Holland

September 15, 1942 – November 10, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda May Holland (nee Hubbell) in her 83rd year at Heritage Green Nursing Home in Stoney Creek on November 10, 2024. Linda will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 28 years, Colin Holland.

She was a devoted mother to Leonard Townsend and John (Louise) Townsend and a cherished grandmother to Alyssah and Lindsay. Linda will also be fondly remembered by her stepdaughters, Susan Holland-Hibbert (Jarold) and Carol Holland, as well as grandsons Oliver and Johnathan. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jim Anderson, and her parents, William and Florence Hubbell.

Born in Toronto on September 15, 1942, Linda was raised in Cayuga, Ontario. She dedicated her career to health care, working with organizations such as the Red Cross, Extend Care, West Haldimand General Hospital, Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, and providing private care in numerous homes. Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff who cared for her during her last few months in the hospital and at Heritage Green Nursing Home.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at JW Hart Funeral Home, 113 Lock St. East, Dunnville. A funeral and committal service will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
