Saturday, August 25th, 1928 - Sunday, November 3rd, 2024

Lorna Dawne Brethour (nee Smith) passed away peacefully on November 3rd, 2024, at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, with her children Kim and Fred by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Wilmot, Lorna was a devoted mother to Kim (predeceased Harold) Fair, and Fred (Fran) Brethour.

The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Douglas Crossing, who became dear friends to Lorna. In keeping with her wishes, a private service will be held, with interment at St. John Cemetery, Sunderland.

Memorial donations in Lorna’s memory to the Hospital for Sick Children or St. Andrew’s United Church, Sunderland, would be appreciated by her family. Online condolences may be shared at manganfuneralhome.com.
