Robert Edward “Rob” Lupton aka “Luppy”
March 14th, 2025
Peacefully, with his wife Nathalie by his side, Rob passed away on March 14th, 2025, at the age of 70. Rob fought a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Rob leaves behind his beloved partner Nathalie Stutt. Dear father of Ryan (Nicole), Ashley (Tynan), Spencer (Ashley), Kyla Stutt, and Dylan Stutt. Grandfather of Charlotte, Lily, Cash, Ayden & Emily. Dear brother of Gail Lupton (Steve Shine), John Lupton (Sylvia), Sandy Lupton (Robb Caswell), and Sue Lupton (Kevin Bain). Rob will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Ed and Isabel Lupton.
Rob proudly followed his father Ed Lupton into the family business, Millwork Building Supplies, where he worked alongside his father and family for many years. Beyond his dedication to the business, Rob was a strong supporter of his community and made a lasting impact on those around him.
Rob had a deep passion for life and filled his days with the activities he loved most. Whether he was curling, golfing, or out on a fishing trip, he always found joy in the great outdoors. Snowmobiling through winter landscapes, traveling the world in search of new adventures, and sharing his love of music were just a few of the ways he embraced life. As a partner in “Elusions Nightclub,” he brought people together through music and celebration.
Above all, Rob’s favourite moments were spent at the cottage, surrounded by family and friends. The laughter, stories, and memories created there will be cherished forever. His adventurous spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for those closest to him will never be forgotten.
Our sincerest thanks to Dr. Annett and the entire team at Palliative Care, Lakeridge Health, for their compassion and support.
Rob’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, and he will always be remembered with love.
Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 1 – 6 pm at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa.
Donations in memory of Rob to either Lakeridge Health Foundation Palliative Care or Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
