Salvatore Macri

January 8, 1934 - December 26, 2024

It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the peaceful passing of Salvatore Macri on December 26, 2024, at Norfinch Community Care at the age of 90. Reunited with his beloved wife Maria Rosa (née Piccolo) and dear son Giuseppe, Salvatore was a loving father to Nick (Bernadette) and a proud Nonno to Julianna, Anthony, and Christian. He will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his extended family and friends. Salvatore will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, Ontario, L3T 3Z6. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery – Holy Family Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Salvatore can be made to Parkinson Canada. Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at Catholic Cemeteries.
