Tanya Jean Maracle

1975 – December 12, 2024

After a battle with some health problems, we sadly announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and dear friend, Tanya Jean Maracle, on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Kingston Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 50. She is now reunited with her late husband, Laverne Maracle.

Tanya leaves behind her loving mother, Carol Brant (Wally Maracle), siblings George Brant (Samantha Brant) and Danielle Brant, stepchildren Jane, Kyle, and Ryan, and grandchildren Haven and Ashton. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Aurora, Shayla, Aiden, Ava, Nathaniel, Jonah, Coleson, Hunter, Carson, and Megan, her partner Tim Maracle, her many extended family members, and friends, especially her lifelong friend Angela Hewitt (Cory Cota).

Visitation: Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 16, 2024, at M.J. Smith & Son Funeral Home between 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Funeral Service: A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Mohawk Community Centre, 1807 York Road, TMT. Cremation to follow.
