She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Karen Parker (Nelson) and son Paul (Adriana). Cherished grandmother of Allison, Brett, Luigi, and Leah, Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Caroline and Peter, sister Shirley, and brothers Peter and John. She is survived by her dear sisters-in-law Rita and Joan, and will be fondly remembered by many extended family and friends.

Born on September 23, 1939, in Timmins, Ontario, Barbara was known for her hardworking spirit and dedication to family from a young age. After raising her children as a devoted homemaker, she enjoyed careers in retail and real estate, inspired by her love for working with people. Deeply proud of her Croatian heritage, she was an active member of the Croatian National Home and performed with the Lado Tamburitzans at numerous folklore festivals.
